Welcome to the Spitalfields Market

Maybe most fascinating about London is that it does not matter how often you visit, you will
always discover something new in this city. This time I discovered the area near Liverpool
Street and Spitalfields Market. I really love the cute boutiques and café all around this area
and you can have the best breakfast in town- more soon!

Sunday’s are beautiful

On Sunday’s I really like to stay at home and relax. You can somehow really let the week
come to an end and find some energy for the one coming up. No surprise that I still somehow
always find something to do around my room.

From time to time it is quite important to “clean-up” your possessions. And there I mean: grab a
bin and throw something in! It’s nice to have a good amount of make-up at home but if the bath
is out-ruled by those products it’s time to say bye bye to some of them. And then, unexpectedly,
you dig out some things you haven’t thought of anymore. Happened to me with this Dior
Rouge pallet. Can’t wait to put some on for spring!

We already have reached April but the weather is nothing like that. Today actually the sun is
shining for a change. Still I like staying in and cuddle myself into a fluffy scarf and open the
window for some fresh air in the room. It helps to clear the head and gives your circulation
a little kick.

When lying on my tiny sofa I love reading a magazine or a book. The British InStyle is for me one of
the best magazines at the moment. Love the information, the texts and the tips, hints and
tricks. You seriously can’t go wrong with this one!

Last Sunday, on Easter, we enjoyed this lovely drink. It’s a really simple creation.
All you need is:
Some glasses
A bottle of mild, cold sparkling wine
Frozen raspberries
Some mint leaves
Fill the sparkling wine in a glass, throw the raspberries and mint leaves in, stir and é violá – done!

And last but not least I like searching for some inspiration pictures which will bring new ideas
to my mind.

Hope you are enjoying your Sunday, too! Have a great start into the new, up-coming week!

Tunes for the Weekend

It’s Friday. Big HURRAY for that. I really love enjoying some good tunes around the
weekend and therefore I have put together a little playlist for you, too. Here are the best
three songs, find the whole list on our YouTube Account.

Bastille feat. Ella – No Angels
(really love the Psycho dialog at the beginning)

Alt-J – Taro
(the Indian influence is divine)

Art Of Shades – All Away (Feat. Soukaïna)

Statement Necklace

We think every girl should own a statement necklace. You never know when you will need one.
A big necklace used to be something for the evening but fashion wouldn’t be fashion if it hadn’t
turned even this piece into an wearable day look. Why not wear a pair of jeans, a simple white
shirt, a perfect tailored blazer, some chelsea boots and add a beautiful necklace. A chic
combination a whole day long. Jana loves hers from NoaNoa.

Purple necklace with rhinestones buy at Asos.de
Turquoise necklace by Hallhuber buy at Zalando.de
Gold necklace with flowers and beetle buy at Asos.de

The picture of Jana was taken by Johannes from JFRcreatives. Thank’s for that!

Fluffy Birdy

Fluffy vest – Vintage (bought in London)
White sweater – Zara (last season)
Jeans – Hollister
Necklace & Bracelet – Thomas Sabo
Yes, it’s still cold outside and these pictures are just the result of a quick coat-take-off in a
a courtyard. We have spent the afternoon in Potsdam and enjoyed a a glass of ginger,
honey and lime tea. Just the perfect drink to warm up and also very easy to create at home.
Easter is really close do you guys have any plans for the weekend?

Natural Beauty Tips

Dear Readers,
We are often asked for our personal beauty tips so here’s a small beauty post especially for you.
Well, however I have to disappoint you – I do not use many beauty products at all.
I treat my hair with John Frieda as well as Wella Professional Shampoo and I really
like Rituals products in summer.
There’s not much that touches my facial skin, except for a light Vichy Creme and some
make up removing milk. I try to always remove my eye make up- regardless on how tired
I might be! I cannot say much except for feeling and looking healthy starts with healthy
food and never taking to much of a thing! Staying natural should be the one goal a girl should
always fulfill, natural beauty may be old school but never comes out of fashion.

For more hair-tips see an older post Jana already made for you.

Beginning of Spring

If you listen to the astronomical calendar it’s beginning of spring today. When you look

outside you will quickly be disabused.
In order to get a bit of the spring-feeling why not go
for a bright nail-polish colour? I still really love the one’s from Chanel even when they are from
 the last season.
These three beauties from the Chanel spring 2012 collection are still gorgeous and capture
the mood of this season perfectly. One for each month (April, May & June) and you
are ready to go.
