Breakfast in Potsdam: Biosphäre

When you are searching for a very special place to have breakfast, the Biosphäre Potsdam offers a unique experience to you. You can have brunch in their café, in between tropical plants, a fish pond where koi fish and turtles swim around and occasionally a parrot will fly by. However this is not a place for a spontaneous breakfast. You got to plan your visit in advance (at least two days before) and make a reservation. Plus, wear something light since the temperature is tropical inside. Breakfast in Weimar: Fama Café & Bücher

During my last stay in Weimar my boyfriend and I took the chance to try this beautiful little café called Fama. It is located in the heart of the city and serves delicious breakfast as well as lunch and cake in the afternoon. Everything you see on the table was absolutely delicious and the price was more than fair. In total we paid 22.90 € – which is absolutely appropriate for what we enjoyed. Only tiny little minus point: it took a while until everything was served but certainly waiting was for it. Breakfast in Berlin: Grand Café Cappuccino

The area around Kurfürstendamm is predestined to enjoy the sun, sip a coffee and have a lovely breakfast with a good friend. The Grand Café Cappuchino, the extension of restaurant institutions like Petrocelli, is a perfect spot to do just this. Last time, we both enjoyed the fitness breakfast and it was a real treat. Definitely another favorite brunch and breakfast spot in Berlin! Breakfast in Amsterdam: Bagels ‘n’ Beans

Even though Bagels ‘n’ Beans is a chain, having their cafés all over the Netherlands, I really like the place for having a small snack and a coffee. You can select from a wide variety of bagels as well as healthy breakfast dishes, smoothies and juices, that are all freshly made and very tasty. Brunch in Berlin: Spreegold

Sundays are made for late and long breakfast/brunch sessions. Yesterday I headed to the under Berlin inhabitants pretty well-known Spreegold where they serve fresh food and drinks all day long. However I was keen on trying their breakfast and honestly, it was absolutely delicious. My boyfriend ate the Spreegold’s Brunch “The Best” plate (€ 18,50) and had a Green Mint Iced Tea (€ 3,80) as a refreshment. I had a bowl of whole milk yoghurt with granola and fresh fruits (€ 4,50) as well as Buttermilk pancakes with fruits, sour cream and maple syrup (€ 7,90). As a drink I just ordered a plain Caffé Latte (€ 3,50). All in all it was really yummy but as you can see what each dish and drink costs you can tell what we payed for it in total. Not a weekly indulgence! Of course you can also choose something different from the menu but mainly the breakfast plates start at € 7,50 and up. Another thing which will give this spot a tiny minus point was the speed of the staff. Two guys were running …

Breakfast in Oxford: The Grand Café

The Grand Café in Oxford is a place I can warmly recommend. We went there for breakfast and were just stunned by the beautiful, opulence interior. During the day they serve breakfast, lunch, cream teas and high teas. In the evening you will be able to enjoy some cocktails with locals and University students. According to Samuel Pepys’ Diary (1650), The Grand Café is the site of the first coffee house in England and now an Oxford institution. In the pictures you can see the Scrambled eggs on toast (£4.95), the Grand English breakfast (£8.50) and two Lattes (each £3.25). It was all absolutely delicious! Breakfast in Berlin: Barcomi’s

Cynthia Barcomi was born in Seattle and moved to Berlin in 1985 after she finished her studies at the Columbia University in New York City. She opened her first coffee roasters and bakery in 1994, the second one followed in 1997. This time she decided to open a Deli in Berlin-Mitte serving fresh cakes, cookies, bagels and delicious coffee. Before Christmas my Mum and I had breakfast at this place and really loved it. I ate Barcomi’s Granola (€ 4,50) while my Mum enjoyed a NY special bagel with smoked salmon and onions (€ 6,70). For drinks we had Chai Tea (€ 3,60) and a fresh ginger tea with honey (€ 3,20). Not that cheap but worth the price. If you want to go to this place be early or make a reservation beforehand – just to be on the save side. Blogger breakfast with Abury

Last month I was able to attend the Abury blogger breakfast held in their store in Berlin Mitte. Along with me there were some other bloggers such as Jasmin from @myberlinfashion and Anni from @bildhuebschblog . All in all it was a really nice round and the atmosphere was comfy. We listened to their concept and their idea behind it. Talked about the up-coming collection and had the chance to take a look at the models.

Breakfast in London: Albion

Most likely one of the best breakfast restaurants on earth.  I had the best scone with clotted cream and homemade rasberry jam I ever ate, as well as the whole range of scrambled eggs and mushrooms on freshly baked bread followed by fresh orange juice.  This place is definitely worth a visit!  2- 4 Boundary Street Shoreditch, London
