Breakfast in Berlin: Distrikt Coffee

Steadily the breakfast spots in Berlin are growing and improving. One, very instagramable place, is Distrikt Coffee closely located to the subway station Nordbahnhof. We have already seen a few pictures on the social media platforms and figured it was time to visit the café. They serve a delicious breakfast even though the portions are not very big and you certainly need more than one if you really want to be satisfied. Also the coffee pots aren’t really huge and quickly cool out. But everything tastes really good. Nevertheless because of the price this isn’t an everyday place to enjoy. The interior is cozy and the people hanging around here are typical Berlin inhabitants or tourists who stumbled across the place on Instagram. Brunch in London: German Gymnasium

It is safe to say that London is heaven for brunch lovers. There are countless nice places offering the best food, whether it is the classic English breakfast, intercontinental, healthy, exotic or French… This time we went out for brunch with family and friends at the German Gymnasium, nearby King’s Cross station. The interior is super nice and the food as well. We can recommend the granola, even though it comes with only a tiny bit of yoghurt so you’ll probably have to order some extra yoghurt! Coffee in Toronto: Dineen

One thing is for sure: Toronto is a coffee-loving city and we are more than happy about it! One of my favorite coffee spots is Dineen, located downtown in the financial district. I love the cafe’s distinct interior – it is both cozy and very sophisticated. I also appreciate the nice “milk bar”, just a table with different sorts of milk and sugar but arranged in a super lovely way with some flowers and silver covers for the milk cartons. During the week the place will probably always be crowded but still you’ll get your coffee outright. Coffee in New York: Brooklyn Roasters

Brooklyn Roasters is my favorite coffee shop in the DUMBO area. A perfect Sunday would start with a soy latte and some work for the blog on my laptop. Afterwards, a stroll through the DUMBO area and a walk from Manhattan to Brooklyn Bridge. Afterwards, one can go to Brooklyn Heights for some shopping. Coffee and more in New York: Butterfield Market

I soon found out that a perfect day in New York City most likely looks like this to me: Firstly, visit the MET and stroll through the impressionism floor (I am a huge fan of Monet, Manet, Sargent, Degas, Renoir, Van Gogh and there are so many more…) and maybe also take a look at the Costume Institute exhibition going on. Afterwards I would totally go for a coffee and frozen yogurt break at the Butterfield Market, one of my favorite food places in New York. The Butterfield Market is basically a fine food store, selling all kinds of delicacies. There is a small bakery, cheese section, fruits and fresh produce and much more! But what I love the most is the open coffee station, where one can fill in one’s own iced coffee with Hawaiian coconut flavored brew and hazelnut americano. I would also recommend to try the frozen yogurt as long as the temperatures allow it, coffee and natural with fresh mango is my favorite combination! Finally, I would go back to the Central Park for a long walk, just …

Coffee in New York: Blue Bottle Coffee

Life in New York City most naturally demands a lot of caffeine. That is usually why you can find very nice and skilled coffeeshops all over the city. Blue Bottle is such coffee shop, only selling coffee that is 48 hours out of the roaster, since that is when the coffee flavor peaks. Beans are sourced responsively and deliciously rich in their taste. Blue Bottle coffee has developed a small network of a couple of shops all over New York, for example in Chelsea, at the Bryant Park and on the High Line. Casual Coffee

Some laid-back pictures taken at a much needed coffee break some time ago. My time in Amsterdam is almost over and I am so grateful for all the experiences I made and everything I learned while I was here! Ace&Tate is one of the really cool labels that I found here in Amsterdam – all their sunglasses are unique and handmade. They offer highly dedicated customer service and their pop-up store in Amsterdam is the place where all the cool kids get their shades for the upcoming summer. Check out their website for store locations and the webshop! Leather jacket – Zara Clutch – Louis Vuitton Sunglasses – Ace&Tate

Coffee in Berlin: Café Neundrei

A couple of days ago I attended the opening of the Café Neundrei a place where you will find delicious coffee and vegan treats. Since more people are becoming aware of their daily nutrition we love to share this location with you. For your coffee you can choose between normal milk, soya milk, lactose-free milk and almond milk (coasting 50cents extra). Also, next to the normal coffee treats, you will be able to find Matcha Latte (€ 3.80), Chai Latte (€ 3.20) and some Superfood Smoothies (€ 4.50). Along with a delicious coffee you should definitely enjoy a vegan bread with fresh filling such as avocado, spinach leaves and cress (starting at € 3.90). Also their vegan apple cake or their banana bread is worth a try – a freshly baked by themselves.
