Female Future Force

Last week Thursday we had the chance to attend the Female Future Force event hosted by the magazine Edition F. The theme of the event was “Life-Changing-Moments” and five women were invited as speakers throughout the evening. The location of the event was the STATION at Luckenwalder Str., in the heart of Berlin. We got there a little after half past 8 and a big queue had already formed in front of the main entrance.  The the big space inside was needed: around 800 people, mainly women, attended the event on this evening. The first hour before the speakers took the stage was a little hectic and crazy. Rosen Garden Berlin was responsible for the catering on this evening and did a great job with their team. We enjoyed some delicious creams with fresh bread, Mexican wraps, shrimps and dumplings as well as fresh fruits and banana bread. The drinks were supplied by Russian Standard, Weingut Diehl and Vöslauer. We especially fell in love with the rosé wine by Weingut Diehl but also Russian Standard …

Blogger Xmas Workshop

Last week we travelled to Hamburg for a day to participate in the annual blogger Xmas workshop designed around the P&G prestige perfumes. We enjoyed some DIY workshops that included designing our own christmas tree balls, gift boxes and cupcakes – all inspired by different perfume lines, namely James Bond 007, Christina Aguilera and Bruno Banani. NYFW Head Quarters

During Fashion Week it is a true bliss to have some places where you can just relax, take some time out and have a drink with some other fellow bloggers. New York Fashion Week of course offered such a place at the Head Quarters. There were phone chargers, refreshing summer drinks, delicious snacks and cool cooperation partners to explore.

Last Friday I finally had the chance to meet the lovely SisterMag girls again. Occasion? They organized an event setting a primary focus how to get healthy and fit through the summer season. In little workshops we got an inside look on health products, beauty treatments and latest wholesomeness helpers. During the lunch break you were able to get a pedi and mani session, polish your hair style or refresh you make up by a great beauty team. And of course we have to mention the delicious food which has been served all day long. Starting with some breakfast treats, a lunch break and in the afternoon sweets and coffee. Dear SisterMag Team, thank you for this great experience and the lovely day I have been able to spend with you. Well done for making us a little more happy and healthy during some hectic weeks. Culture in Amsterdam: La Dame Aux Camélias

Going out to see a Ballet performance is one of our favorite things to do together. So of course we couldn’t miss the beautiful performance of “La Dame Aux Camélias” by the Het National Ballet. The performance was breath-taking, we were so captivated by the exceptional choreography, which displayed very powerful, emotional moves. Lacoste Blogger Workshop

Some days ago, we were lucky enough to be invited to the Lacoste blogger event in Frankfurt am Main, where their male perfume collection “Eau de Lacoste” was presented. We had an exceptionally lovely day and were welcomed warmly by the team of Headspace PR. What followed was a perfect mix of hanging out with lovely people, enjoying the sun, learning and discovering interesting facts about perfume and indulging a delicious menu. We enjoyed a menu created in all five colors of the fragrance line – blue, red, white, yellow and black. For each course, the table decoration was adjusted so it would fit the color of the respective dish, in order to fortify the colored experience. One of this day’s highlights was that we were able to assist the great cooking team with the two main courses and were especially happy to learn some tips how to prepare the recipes ourselves. Apart from this, a professional color psychologist and the Lacoste perfume developer enlightened the group with intriguing knowledge about scents and their different appeals. Caption Nailpolish Event

On the beginning of this week I was lucky enough to attend the lovely CAPTION nail polish event here in Amsterdam. It was a fun night full of girl’s talk, nail polish and sweets! I have to say – I am absolutely stunned by the result of the three layers nail polish (base, color, top coat). It looks like the nails were gel and lasts for several days without any cracks!

This year, the Lavera Showfloor started with an opening show with prominent guests like Elisa Sednaoui, Elisabetta Canalis and Evelyn Hall. The opening show featured Danish designer Ann Wiberg, showing beautiful her “trash couture” made out of antique fabrics, laces, beads and embroideries. The entire collection is sewn in her own atelier in Copenhagen and is destined to minimize waste and give a second life to pre-worn pieces of fabrics. Ann Wiberg is one of few designers who offer individualized services for designing a unique gown for a special event, wedding etc. Her couture is both “poetic and contemporary”.

Since this project isn’t official yet, we can only show you some pictures of the event were invited to. It was a lovely evening with some other bloggers, delicious food and an interesting presentation. The goody bag we received afterwards was a true delight. Filled with Liebeskind Berlin, MAC cosmetic and Thomas Sabo products. Thanks for the invite once more!

French Tea Time

Yesterday, we gladly accepted an invitation to our first French Tea time ever at Concorde Hotel Berlin. We surely knew the old tradition of English Tea but we have never experienced the French version up until now! One thing we can tell for sure- it was more than delicious and involved for example freshly made apricot macarons, madeleines and the finest jasmine tea ever! Thank you so much for having us, we are already excited for the next event that may come up.
