Sweet Treat in Berlin: Youghurt

You know we love food (and taking pictures of food). For some years now we noticed that people around us try to eat more healthy and keep an eye on what is in their food. When Jan from Youghurt invited us over to try their Müsli (cereals), frozen yoghurt, smoothies and fresh toppings we couldn’t resist. You come in and chose everything yourself and how much of each topping you want. In the end you pay by weight (100g = € 1,99). If you decide to visit Youghurt you will find a self-service bistro which serves healthy fast food on a fresh basis. Their newest addition? Salads and soups. Jan and Magi (married couple), owner and founder of the store, love what they do and what they have created. Sweet Treat in Berlin: Waffelkaffel

Ever since I tried waffles for the first time in my life they have become the best sweettreat ever. Therefore it wasn’t too hard for me to join my boyfriend on a visit to the little Waffelkaffel in Neukölln (a borough of Berlin). It really is this kind off place where you want to hang-out with some friends and enjoy one of their delicious waffle creations. You can choose between sweet ones (served with fruits and ice-cream for example) or savory (e.g. with salmon or goats cheese). It truly is worth a visit if you ask me. Coffee, Cookie and Trenchcoat

Coffee, a cookie and a cuddly trenchcoat actually really sounds like autumn. But no, I still cling myself to a bit of summer. Even though I can’t wait to get my Burberry trench out again & wear it all day long. I tried to challenge my inner cowgirl with this leather trench coat and somehow I kind off like it. BBQ Night

Girl’s evenings/nights together are just the most amount of fun. So we had this little BBQ at Jana’s house, well garden to me more precise. Chicken wings, baguette, fresh salad, watermelon, mousse de chocolate, raspberry cupcakes and bowl full of Sangria. Promised to be fun!

Yesterday was our first really day at Fashion Week here in Berlin. We attended the show of holyGhost at the Brandenburger Tor. It was a nice collection with sequin and silk pieces. The colourful dresses were a bit too much though. Afterwards we enjoyed a Frozen Yogurt (again, we know. But it’s too good) and headed home to study for our exams again. Today we will be out again for the GLAW Fashion Show. We are looking forward to that one. But before that we will enjoy lunch together.

Leather Jacket Love

We really love leather jackets and in this post we tried to capture the beauty of our own favorite one. They are just the perfect throw-on-piece when you want to go out and need something cool to toughen-up your combination. However we know that finding the right one isn’t that easy. Only chose one that fits you really well; oversize is not that chic for a leather jacket in our opinion. And, you can never go wrong with black, still the very classic style for a leather jacket. After snapping these pictures we enjoyed a delicious Frozen Yogurt at Wonderpots. Still the best place to eat this little sin. Remember our little trip to the Hotel de Rome? Lunch in Werder (Havel): Café Jacob

From time to time it is so nice to try a café or restaurant in your vicinity.  On the contemplative island of Werder opened a new beautiful café called Café Jacob. They serve homemade cakes, quiche, tarte flambée and delicious breakfast in the morning.  Later during the day you can enjoy some fresh, classic cocktails. The interior is  really chic and charming.
