This is probably my favorite new dress I can wear from day to night just by changing my footwear. I got it at Zara a few days before I flew to New York, not expecting to be able to wear it as often as I already did. But yeah, here we are: beautiful weather in New York City. New York Fashion Week is mostly extravagant, quite colorful and a little over the top. It was a beautiful day in July, when our dear friends said “yes” forever. We were happy to share this special day with them and be part of such a dream wedding! Of course it is not easy to find a dress for such an occasion and with mine I had this seldom and wonderful “aha” moment – that was the right dress! When you experience such a moment, you feel more confident in your dress and there is an inner shine that comes from within! Time is running like crazy and soon we both will be located in New York. Jana arrived safely in the Big Apple and enjoys some free time before her intership kicks-off. I’m still in Berlin training and working before I will join Jana at the beginning of September. This will be a huge opportunity for both of us and we already got so many great things on our list. I got this black leather bag the other day and absolutely love it. It’s from the label Irene Van Ryb, never heard of it before but fallen for it straight away. At the moment such much is happening in our lives that we hardly realize how crazy our daily routines sometimes are. Just so you can imagine what is going on we are happy to give you a little insight. Our biggest issue at the moment is changing the Midnight Couture layout. This is super fun and even more nerve-racking (luckily we have a great web designer at our hands!). The side will be totally different because we figured out what we want to focus on in the future, mainly lifestyle topics such as travel, fitness, health, interior and events. Of course fashion and street style will stay with us but we would both say that this isn’t a pure fashion blog anymore. When growing up and experiencing new things your mind and your ideas change. Which is why we want to take this adventure further and give our creativity a bigger space. Besides this, we will both leave Berlin for a few months in order to follow our dreams and live our lives to the fullest. Where we are going? We will tell …
Yesterday evening a spend a lovely girls night with some of our friends. We had homemade pizza, a delicious cucumber/feta salad, fresh melon with ham and cool drinks at a friends place. After this delicious dinner we headed to the cinema and watched Magic Mike XXL. Honest opinion? The first one was better. We missed the story somehow. Nevertheless the evening with the girls was a sensation and the weather was absolutely amazing! However the outfit combination here was taken on Thursday before our dinner at the Grace restaurant. Today we headed out for a little lunch at restaurant Le Faubourg at Hotel Concorde. The warm weather has reached Berlin again and we are more than happy to show you these new summer sandals by UGG Australia. The soft greyish brown shade which is worked into the ribbons reminds us of a beautiful late afternoon on the beach of Palma. The sunbeds, in which you were able to relaxe, head the same colour and offered a cozy setting on the beach. It was a calm yet absolutely memorable evening with some friends and good drinks. Have you every experienced a summer moment like this? Its certainly an unforgettable memory we don’t want to miss. And we promise, in these heels the next memories will be growing.
