Sweet Remedy

I have to admit- it has been a dear friend of mine who first told me about the label Softclox. But afterwards there was no escape from instantly falling in love with those wonderful shoes myself! Firstly, let me talk about the brilliant concept of Softclox. Those shoes are like a remedy for your feet- wearing them feels more like a beauty treatment than like wearing heels. There is no chance of hurting feet, even though some of the models are up to 10-13cm high. Here’s why: they have a soft wooden sole that feels comfortable and warm from below, they are always made of finest leather (let is be soft suede or a specially treated Nubuk leather), they are surprisingly light-weighted and after a while they adapt slightly to your feet so that they become truly yours. The wooden sole is probably the most astonishing feature, since firstly it is formed anatomically and secondly is flexible thus helps you feet to roll off naturally. Additionally, another impressive fact is that all wood used for the …

Late Snow

We know we have been absent for quite a while now and you are waiting for some outfit posts -we are sorry about that! However, currently we are both involved in several important projects and simply had only very limited time resources for posting. But we can assure you that we will be back if you just give us some more weeks time! In the meantime, here are some snapshots from a funny coincidence with MAZ photographer Julian Stäble who ran into me when he was in search for some pictures displaying the snowy German weather! So, maybe one of those will also be in the papers some time around.

Goodbye 2013

When it comes down to prepare this post we always think “What happened to this year?!”. Somehow it comes really slowly, the end of one year and the beginning of a new one. However it still always feels as if we have created this post just a few days ago. And now we do it again. One year, gone so fast and with it so many memories to keep in mind. What has been most memorable then? Here a little list which is really just captures some things We traveled a lot this year – Amsterdam, London, Praha, Palma de Mallorca, Madeira, Weimar, Istanbul, Paris, Roma and Venice. We hope to be able to add some more beautiful places to our list in the next year. Traveling is such a passion, you ca never get enough of it. We have done an interview with the Tagesspiegel about Midnight Couture. Additionally we also joined the BlogStars and Stylight blogger network. So many opportunities have come along and we are so grateful for it. And you made this actually possible. BIG THANK YOU …

Street Lights City Nights

Bloggers from South Europe have an advantage here- right now we are really struggling with horrible weather conditions for our outfit posts. Fizzy rain, cold and grey days, no optimal light for shooting really… However, here is what we managed today! Sweater weather deluxe. Bag – Liebeskind absolutely cozy sweater – Hoxton Chic Leather jacket – Zara

It’s a November day

The November weather has hit us right-away. It’s grey and rainy outside but luckily not that cold yet. If you still want to challenge your beloved leather jacket make sure to wear a cozy sweater underneath (nothing scratchy, you will go crazy over the day otherwise). Besides that add a thick scarf and a cute hat (also pay attention to the fabric which has been used). Don’t forget your umbrella when you go out. Rain isn’t that good for leather jackets! At this time of the year, when the weather allows it, taking a stroll through the countryside is a sheer delight. The leaves are so colorful and the air somehow feels fresher than during the other seasons. It dose have something purifying. Boots – BCBG Max Azria Leather jacket – Set Hat – Seeberger  Heart necklace – Tiffany & Co.

Wiesn Special

Dear Readers! We are more than proud to present a very special post to you, dedicated to one of the oldest traditions in German culture- the Oktoberfest! A special thank you certainly goes to the excellent Hotel Bayrisches Haus in Potsdam which functioned as the perfect location for our little shooting! Furthermore, we would like to recommend the German “Dirndl” designer Lola Paltinger who is situated in Munich. Her collections show exquisite Dirndl dresses with many fancy details, exceptionally beautiful fabrics as well as lovely accessories (as you may see below). Another special tip: tonight the Café am neuen See (surely one of Berlin’s most beautiful places) will host a Oktoberfest Event. If you are quick there will still be tables available. You can book via email info@cafeamneuensee.de or call 030 – 81 88 62 36 for reservations.

Checked Shirt

September is coming along and we have fallen in love with some autumn styles. Such as the check-pattern which is to be seen in all stores now. It gives this little twist to every casual combination. Such a nice trend in our opinion which works in many different ways. Checked Shirt – H&M Black leather jacket – Zara Leggings – H&M (old) Ballet flats – H&M Black bracelet – Thomas Sabo

Golden Light

That particular light, which you can only find in summer, even then rarely, which enlightens every shot in a very special way… Today we were more than lucky to capture some of this golden light with this little session. Lace overall – Zara (new season) Necklace and Bracelet – Accessorize

All Good Things Flow

Guess I have found my perfect summer dress. Light fabric, nice pattern and all for a good price. Everything I have been searching for. Plus I can wear it as a day dress with sandals and simple silver necklaces or as a party dress with some boots and sparkling jewelry. Actually I’m also thinking about buying the red one, too. It has a different pattern and was also divine. Dress – H&M (new season) Brown sandals – Stefanel (old)
