These pictures can’t hide it anymore: Autumn is here. But it can be such a beautiful season with all those colored leaves, long walks through the park, cuddly scarfs and a cinnamon spiced coffee. What do you like to do during some sunny Autumn days? We also took the chance to snap some outfit pictures. Next week university life starts for me again and I’m actually not that motivated to go back to the classes. Somehow I love to work for new projects and enjoy some free time on the weekend, not thinking about reading texts and writing essays. But I’m looking forward to see all my study mates again and chat to them. It’s always fun to hear and see what they have been up to during our „free“ time. Summer so over so fast and it seem surreal to be back to kind-off normal daily business soon. Coat – Zara Off-shoulder shirt – H&M Skirt – Zara Sneakers – Adidas Stan Smith
Autumn is one of the seasons we really love. The light (when the weather allows it) is so magical when the sun goes down, the leaves are beautifully colored and cuddling up on the sofa becomes casual. Oh and don’t forget the hot chocolate here. Plus, Halloween is coming our way. Excitement level? High! And we guess no other month than October represents autumn so accurate. We therefore have put together a little inspiration post for you, featuring our favorite pieces and states for this month. The weather is changing daily, the spices of our food gets a make-over (craving for that pumpkin-ginger soup) and our wardrobe becomes more comfortable.
It’s been quite a while since we managed to take some streetstyle photos together. So last night, we took the opportunity when Vanessa picked me up from work for a girls night! We first headed for the Louis Vuitton Time Capsule Exhibition at Unter den Linden, before making our way to the Edition F Female Future Event later that night. The outfit is already pretty autumn-like, since weather leaves us no choice at the moment. Summer has gone by so quickly! Right now, I’m really into comfy boots and office blouses. Any suggestions where to find nice ones online? Coat – Zara Blouse – Zara Jeans – Noisy May Boots – Clarks
On Saturday it’s that time of the year again. The world’s biggest Volksfest will open it’s gates in Munich. Hello, Wiesn – hello, Oktoberfest! Since 1810 these festivities are annually held in Munich but since a few years this tradition has also swept over to other areas. Also in Berlin and Potsdam are many events taking place in the next few weeks under the theme „Oktoberfest“. Jana traditionally heads to the Oktoberfest hosted by the Café am Neuen See, which took place the past weekend. Here she has collected some impressions for you to get you in the mood. Here’s her impression of the past event: „I love CANS WIESN at Café am Neuen See. Firstly, my boyfriend is the host of the event and secondly, all my friends are there! Oktoberfest in Munich might be the original, but surely the atmosphere and spirits are at least the same in our Oktoberfest tent! We all love to dance the night away to the classic Wiesn Hits and just have fun. I can only recommend to …
The Trenchcoat has probably easily became one of our favorite fashion pieces ever. Always looking timeless and chic, you can wear this piece to any occasion. Today we would like to share some various outfit combinations with you. The trenchcoat Jana is wearing, is from the label Club Monaco and she got it two years ago during our time in New York. It was love on first sight and since then has been a loyal partner. When buying a trench, you really got to watch the length of it. There are so many different lengths and not every length suits every body typ. And who wants to look lost in their trench? No one! So, when you go out and want to buy one, make sure the store offers various lengths. Or you head to different stores. Try a long, middle length and short one in order to see which suits you the best. Next step: color. Of course beige is the classic color for a trench and when you want to invest a little …
I don’t know why but September already makes me feel like autumn. I guess its because of the weather we already have her in Germany, mostly grey and rainy. Even though I have experienced an Indian Summer in New York, September will always be autumn-pioneer. This also means our wardrobes get a huge make-over. All those breezy summer dresses and sandals start to vanish; booties, long pants and cozy knitwear land in the drawers. Of course also those earthy shades and the different states of grey have their moments in this month but adding a little colour can give your whole outfit combination a twist. Red and pink add the perfect dash of colour.
A classical, well suited jacket can turn any outfit into a sensation. This summer we both had fun in trying out some more daring ones in order to give our everyday looks a little twist. This red jacket by Mango (currently on SALE – be quick!) is a perfect day and night piece. With jeans and a shirt you can work it during the day, even at the office, and with a cute dress plus some fancy heels it makes the perfect match for a night out. At the end of this post we have put together a little overview with some fancy, statement jackets which you can happily add to your shopping list. Jeans – Zara (on Sale!) Jacket – Mango (on Sale!) Little bag – Furla (on Sale!) Shirt – H&M Flat shoes – H&M Pink jacket from Topshop (similar here) / Green fake-leather jacket from Mango / Jeans jacket from Topshop / Pastel green XIAN blazer from Mango / Light jacket from Hallhuber
Snapping these pictures wasn’t easy actually. It was raining the whole day and we tried to catch a weather gap. The weather God wasn’t on our side which is why we headed to the beautiful New Palace and used those beautiful arcades as our backdrop. Even though the weather wasn’t summerly at all, I couldn’t resists on wearing this beautiful light blue skirt from Zara. I already bought it some weeks ago and was desperately waiting to wear it. I really love the shape of the skirt which is why I also got it in black the other day. In Berlin, the last May days have been the hottest in history – we had nearly constant 30 degrees Celsius and on Tuesday even 34! Surely, we hope that this warm weather will remain throughout June as well. Apart from being sunny and warm, June is a colorful month for me. There is always a play of light and colors: the flowers blooming in the garden, a bright pink summer dress, a statement bag in yellow, an orange Aperol Spritz, a bright green salad… Let’s celebrate the colors of June this month!
Mules We’ve first seen them on the runways of Prada and co. (and to be honest, couldn’t make much of this trend in the beginning). Now, they’re everywhere! In our opinions, they are the perfect combination of chic and casual, a pair of shoes fitting to many outfits and occasions. [show_shopthepost_widget id=“2663164″] Mom Jeans Thank go for mom jeans! We couldn’t love them more. They’re super stylish, super cozy and a perfect fit (they always make a slim waist, because of the high waist cut). Mom jeans really make our daily lives more comfortable… [show_shopthepost_widget id=“2663167″] Cross-Body Bags There’s nothing more stylish and „blogger-like“ than a cross-body bag, over a fur coat, dress, blouse, blazer… The list is endless. However, what always remains is that cross-body bags are not only practical (you have your hands free for phones, coffees, drinks…) but also an upgrade to every style. They just always look classy but effortless. [show_shopthepost_widget id=“2663190″]
