Shopping in Berlin: Schee

I love to discover new little boutiques and shops in my neighborhood. One store that I recently stumbled across is Schee, located in Bleibtreustraße. So we went to check it out last weekend. The store is a lovely mix of interior and decoration accessories, cards and books, prints and textiles. In my opinion one of the addresses to go for when you’re searching for a present for a friend or family member! We really liked how elaborate and carefully selected the selection of items was – every piece was special! They also have another store in Berlin located at Rosenthaler Straße (close to the underground station Rosenthaler Platz, Mitte). We definitely want to visit that one too. Dear readers, Right now I (Jana) am continuing my studies with a semester abroad. That it why I just moved to Paris! It has long been my dream to study abroad and I chose Paris, since it is the fashion capital of this world thus I will direct my studies towards the creative industries. Hence, from now on we will keep you updated from the origin of two cities- Paris and Berlin! We always love to enhance our blog with an international perspective, therefore we will continue sharing our favorite places, fashion as well as cultural tips and we hope that you enjoy this wider point of view as much as we do.

In the post before this one we have showed you some inspirations for a Birthday decoration or also usable for any other party you want to throw. Here however comes the table and house decoration of Jana’s birthday bash. If you want to have a special event make sure you keep an eye on the details because those certainly stay in mind afterwards. It’s always a good idea to stick to a colour or different shade of the same colour. When you have decided on that one you need to check some of your favorite decor or living stores or online shops for matching pieces. Don’t over do it! If you have some highlights it’s good but you don’t need a whole bunch of them.

BBQ Night

Girl’s evenings/nights together are just the most amount of fun. So we had this little BBQ at Jana’s house, well garden to me more precise. Chicken wings, baguette, fresh salad, watermelon, mousse de chocolate, raspberry cupcakes and bowl full of Sangria. Promised to be fun!

Studded Top – AxParis  Skirt – Zara  Need a cute top for a night-out? We spotted this lovely, gold studded top at AxParis and were  more than happy when they sent it over to us. We combined it with a simple black skirt from Zara.  Of course you can try different skirts with it. If you rather like to wear a trousers along with it  you should buy one which is high waisted.
